In a clearing, round the dell,  Just over the ancient fell,  She lays sweet, quiet and tame,  Biddable to the farmers game.   
But hark! He comes, man in suit.  Who'll show no sorrow for this persuit.  On his lapel a ribbon red.  A rose displayed above his head.   
Rifle from its sling is pulled.  Unaware, he has her fooled.  Takes aim. Shoots her. In the heart,  Her body he will rip apart   
And stand triumphant.   
There is no way that she can send  For help. The suit has brought the end.  Closed all her counter Cold Bloodied Murderer

EvolutionJane closed the door behind her, pulling up the collar of her fluorescent yellow coat against the bitter wind. Another grey and dreary day, but at least it was not raining. Just the same middling weather, never terrible yet never nice.   
She glanced to her right, hearing the old wooden door of the terrace beside her open, and watched her neighbour come tumbling out with her three children. Jane stared at her, still a little shocked by what she saw though they had moved in over a month ago now. Three children. Who in these days of overpopulation had the audacity to have three children?

The words flashed forcefully upon the screen, demanding an answer. Rachel read them over slowly, willing the letters to change into something else. Then she clicked off the messenger service and closed her laptop. Mary couldn't expect a response, surely? It was forecast to snow tomorrow anyway; so they probably wouldn't show. Yes, protesters wouldn't show. It was an empty threat. Mary would not upset Mother further.

New/old toys!

Well, as I sit writing this I am anxiously watching the clock, waiting for time to get to 12.30.

I am pleased to be able to tell you that I have a new pony. Its been a bit of a hectic time, as you all know, but oddly enough I feel adding to that stress is going to help me! I've really missed having a horse as it was my form of exercise and stress release. I may have more time for everything without, but I'm not as happy. And getting a new horse doesn't mean I loved Annie any less. I do really miss her still.

So new pony is arriving in an hour! Proper introductions coming soon!

I've also been having a clear out of all my old horse stuff that I no longer want. So the following will be going up on ebay, unless anyone notes me here wanting it first! Could be a great cheap xmas present for a horsey friend!

Shires navy saddle cloth with gold trim. This came with Dina; I've never used it and it looks like new. It really is lovely and I would use it on my new pony but navy and gold were always the colours I used for Annie so I want to move away from them for a while.

Weatherbeeta travel boots, set of 4 cob sized, sky blue with navy trim. These have been worn and used - the outer lining is a little worn/scuffed in places. But the damage is very superficial and they will still fit, hold and protect as necessary. Seems a waste to throw them out so going very cheap.

6.3ft Burbury check cotton summer sheet - as new/never worn.

Black leather clipped De Gouge - one size fits all - brand new/never used.

Synthetic side reins with elastic inserts - brand new/never used.

Extra small masta exercise sheet. Classic square cut navy blue sheet with a navy blue fleece lining - brand new/never used.
